“The Clark County Association of Realtors® First Citizen Award is given to someone who has exhibited selfless and thoughtful contributions to the community they live in. They have to be a generous and giving personality, who bestows outstanding efforts to the community and personal dedication to the welfare of those around them.” This year’s recipient is Terry Eccles-Pettet, Broker/Owner of Imagine Homes Realty.
Terry has always been an advocate for home ownership and her dedication goes beyond her contributions to the Realtor® Associations. From 2016 – 2021, she served on the Board of Directors for the Evergreen Habitat for Humanity, and served as President from 2018-2019. During her term, she was an advocate for Affordable Housing at the local level and also at the state level. She participated in Habitat’s International mission, traveling to Guatemala in 2018.
The pinnacle of her service was her persistence to see the implementation and success of the Habitat Land Trust, providing a permanent affordability plan for housing. Ground has been broken for the first 9 of 50 homes planned to be a part of the Evergreen Habitat for Humanity permanent affordability plan here in Clark County. For her dedication to Habitat’s mission, Terry received the 2022 Ray Johnson Award.
Everything Terry undertakes is with passion and her dedication to the community is unwavering. Congratulations to this year’s CCAR First Citizen Award recipient, Terry Eccles-Pettet!
